Waktu menunjukkan pukul 16.00. Beberapa akh telah berkumpul di depan masjid Baitul Muslim tempat kami melakukan shalat Asar berjamaah sebelum bertolak ke Bandar Lampung. "Jangan lupa berdoa akh," pintaku kepada beberapa teman sebelum kami menaiki mobil APV milik DPD PKS Lampung Timur. Mobil meluncur perlahan. Di belakang, mobil kepanduan yang khusus mengangkut perlengkapan juga merayap perlahan. Masih ada beberapa teman yang akan ikut bersama kami. Setelah 30 menit berjalan kami tiba di rumah saudara kami yang telah menunggu. Sejenak kami menaikkkan perlengkapan ke mobil Kepanduan.

Untuk sampai Bandar Lampung, biasanya kami dapat tempuh selama dua jam perjalanan. Namun, jalan yang banyak berlubang memaksa kami harus menempuhnya selama hampir tiga jam. Beberapa saat sebelum kami sampai di DPW PKS Lampung, kami mampir ke rumah makan dan menambah perbekalan tepat disisi rel kereta api.

Pukul 20.10 WIB. Satu persatu kami melakukan registrasi. Terdengar di dalam gedung GSG riuh rendah suara dan pekikan takbir dari para peserta yang telah lebih dahulu datang dari seluruh wilayah Lampung.

Panitia memberikan selembar kertas kontrak kegiatan kepada masing-masing peserta untuk di tanda tangani. Setelah itu kami mendapatkan beberapa hal yang harus kami lakukan selama kegiatan. Sambil menunggu teman-teman dari Lampung Utara yang belum juga hadir, panitia memutarkan beberapa video untuk kami. Baru sekitar pukul 22.00 WIB, teman-teman dari Lampung Utara tiba di DPW. Lalu kami pun mulai diarahkan ke mobil yang akan mengangkut kami ke lokasi mukhayam.
